Kundapur, Nov 5: MLA, Gopal Poojary, laid foundation stones for different works totally worth Rs 11 crore at 41 places within Byndoor constituency on Saturday November 4.
The works for which foundation stones were laid happened to be Halnadu gram panchayat Mahaganapati temple road, Mullugudde Halnadu road, road leading to the house of Medar, Nellikatte connecting road in Kavarady gram pancayat, Sarkal Road, Brahmalingeshwara temple road, Kallarabail road, Mullugudde SC colony road, Kandlur Saukoor road, Amparu gram panchayat Moodubage Hosimane Road, Waltoor Kunigadde road, Shanyattu Melbettu road, Gorate Road, Jigaru Road, Jigarudde Road, Gudibettu Nandikeshwara temple road, Melmailu road, Banglegudde and Kansady road, Tenkabettu Kumbarabettu road, Karkunje - Korabail - Ajiri connecting road, Manivanakatte road, Jeddinakodlu road, Kaujoor road, Hilkodu road, Saukoor Chikapete road in Gulvady gram panchayat, Durgaparameshwari temple road, Kambalalgadde Road, bridge construction worth Rs 3.95 crore at Kodlady Holadamane and several other works.
Speaking on the occasion, Poojary said that after he became MLA, lot of works have been got done by him and he also was proud of his achievements during his tenure. He said that previous MLAs had not given any attention to the progress of his constituency. He said he seeks vote during the coming election from the people on the basis of his performance as MLA.
Taluk panchayat members of his constituency, MLC, Pratapchandra Shetty, and several Congress leaders were present.
