Udupi: Rakesh Kunjur elected zonal president of JCI 15

Udupi, Nov 1: Rakesh Kunjur, former JCI Kaup president was elected unopposed as president of JCI zone number 15. The elections were held at Ammanni Ramanna Shetty auditorium by JCI Kalyanpur Cosmo City recently.

Rakesh Kunjur is active in JCI movement since 2002. Being unit president in 2013, he has won several unit and country level awards. He has served as the zonal vice-president in 2016 and won the country level best zonal vice-president award. Besides being active in several organizations, he is also a journalist.

Akshatha Girish was elected as the vice-president of JCI Kundapur. Raghavendra Prabhu of JCI Udupi city, Raghunath Nayak of JCI Belman, Pashupathi Sharma of JCI Putur, Ravi Kakkepadav of JCI Subrahmanya and Manmohan Balladka from JCI Sullia Payaswini were elected unopposed.
