Bengaluru, Oct 30: With the month of October ending, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has extended the deadline given to officials of Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) for filling up the potholes to November 6.

The Chief Minister had earlier this month given an assurance said the potholes would be filled within a fortnight’s time.

Siddaramaiah said the BBMP authorities were unable to adhere to the deadline in view of the continuing rainfall.

The pothole filling exercise could not be undertaken in parts of the City on account of the rains.

Hence, the Chief Minister said the deadline has now been extended. He promised to undertake a city-wide inspection next month.
