M'lore: ‘Motivation on Self-Employment’ Organized by CODP and SIRD

  A programme, ‘Motivation on self-employment’ was organized jointly by the Canara Organization for Development and Peace (CODP) Mangalore, and Syndicate Institute of Rural Development (SIRD), Manipal, on Thursday, June 19 at Yugapurusha auditorium, Kinnigoli.  



 
Fr Onil D’Souza, director of CODP, inaugurated the programme and thanked the health committee members of the region for extending full support to such programmes. ‘Our aim is to encourage more and more people to take up self-employment and thus contribute to the development of the region,’ said Fr D’Souza. 
 
Bhuvanabhirama of ‘Yugapurusha’, who was the chief guest, appreciated the efforts of CODP and Syndicate Bank in developing the region. He said, ‘CODP is organizing various awareness and people-friendly programmes and I hope that people use the village development schemes from Syndicate Bank to take up self-employment.’
 
K R Brahma of SIRD, district lead manager Udaya Kumar Holla, Syndicate Bank Kinnigoli branch manager H V Shenoy, and CODP co-ordinator Jeevan, were also present.
