Mangaluru, Oct 23: Sporting Club (R) and Blood Help Line Karnataka (R) in association with Father Muller Medical College Hospital here, recently organised a blood donation camp at Government Pre University College Katipalla, here.

The camp commenced with an invocation by Ustad Farook Saqafi and was inaugurated by B A Mohiuddin Bava.

The formal programme was presided over by advocate, notary, Muhammed Ismail G.

The organisers provided blood-group related information to the public and urged them to donate blood at every possible opportunity to save a precious life in an emergency.

There were 102 blood donors in all.

Mangaluru corporator Ayaz and Muhammed Ismail G felicitated B M Aboobacker, president of Sporting Club (R), for his social work.

Abdul Jaleel and Iftikar Ahmed felicitated Mustafa Addoru Demmale, advisor of  Blood Help Line Karnataka (R).

B M Husain, T M Aboobacker, Hakeem Falcon, Abdul Khader Bombay, Sadik and  Blood Help Line Karnataka administrators Nizam Thokur, and Sadik Pavoor were present on stage.
