Puttur: Accident near Gundia - bike rider killed

Puttur, Oct 23: A Scoroio vehicle hit a motor bike near Gundia in Shiradi village near Uppinangady in the taluk on Sunday October 22. In this accident, the motor bike rider died on the spot.

Naveen Kumar (30), son of Ramanna from Gubbithota near Sira Gate, Tumakuru, was the unfortunate victim of this accident.

Naveen had come to Dharmasthala to pay obeisance at the temple there. He was returning home, when a vehicle coming from the direction of Hassan hit him. Naveen was thrown to the road due to the impact of the accident. He sustained serious injuries to his head, and breathed his last on the spot.

A case about the accident was registered in Uppinangady police station.
