Udupi, Oct 22: Indian Embassy from Riyadh Saudi Arabia, has written a letter to Karnataka government regarding visa frauds taking place in the region.
The Embassy has asked to take necessary measures to curb the frauds. It mentions that some agents in the state are sending many people to foreign lands with wrong promises. The employees only come to know about the realities once they start working in foreign lands.
Udupi superintendent of police Dr Sanjeev Patil gave details about this letter in a phone-in programme with the public.
The letter asks the state government to educate the general public about employment frauds as well as to take stringent measures to contain these frauds.
