Mangaluru, Oct 17: The most awaited Konkani film 'Mogan Tujea', bitter truth of love, presented by Skeeva Jewel Films is all set to release in the city on Saturday, October 21.
The film will have four shows in Mangaluru. Two shows on Saturday, October 21 at 4 pm and at 7 pm. Two shows on Sunday, October 22, at 4 pm and 7 pm. All the four shows will be held at Don Bosco Hall in city.
Speaking to Daijiworld, Jovito Rodrigues, director of the movie said, "The film has gained much appreciation from Goan viewers. It has become the most successful movie in Goa for the year. We plan to release the movie across the globe and will start our journey outside Goa with Mangaluru. The special technical team from Goa will come to Mangaluru to convert Don Bosco Hall into a temporary theatre. I hope the audience of Mangaluru like the movie."
'Mogan Tujea' is a romantic love story written and directed by debutant director R Jovito Rodrigues. The film is jointly produced by R Jovito Rodrigues and Jayson Colaco. The story of the movie revolves around three main characters - Daksha Shirodkar, Brijesh Kakodkar and Casiano Eddie D'Souza. Fermino Goes, Krishna Signapurkar, Premanand Lotlikar, Priti Lotlikar, Anand Panchwadkar, Elick Vaz, Shruti Naik and Siddharth Nagoji are seen in pivotal roles. Damu Naik will make a special appearance in the movie.
The film is based on different shades of love which includes friendship, passion, pain, agony and sacrifice.
The soul touching music in the movie is composed by Goa's Yuva Srujan Puraskar awardee Elick Vaz. The movie has five songs, that are sung by Goa's popular playback singer Hema Sardesai, Gautami Hede Bambolkar, Rajesh Madgaonkar, Elick Vaz and Raiza Pereira. A foot tapping, upbeat club song in the movie beautifully sung by Hema Sardesai features DID Super Mom Cecille Rodrigues who creatively choreographed the song along with Darren D'Souza. The lyrics are penned by Elick Vaz and Mathew Rodrigues. The music of the film covers various styles including Indian classical, western and Goan.
92.7 Big FM is the official radio partner of the film. The music is exclusively made available at 92.7 Big FM.
The movie has an energetic and dynamic technical team. Pintu Biswas has done the editing and colour grading. Young and talented cinematographer Lester Fernandes has handled the camera for the film. Nidhin Jo Jacob has composed the background score. Praan Chougle has worked as a makeup artist. The movie is dubbed at Vel-Tuned Studio by Velroy Fernandes. The 5.1 sound mix has been mastered at Mangaluru's technologically advanced Daijiworld Audio Visual Pvt Ltd.
The movie will be screened on 7 mtr x 4 mtr screen and JVL sound will be used. Daijiworld is the official media partner.
