NEW DELHI, Jun 12: The CBI on Thursday shifted three officials probing the double murder case in Noida including that of 14-year school girl Aarushi Talwar.
DIG Zaki Ahmed, Superintendent of Police and an IPS officer of 1993 batch from Uttar Pradesh cadre, SP R S Dhankar and an Additional SP were removed from the probe team.
Sources said the shift followed leakage of information pertaining to the case to a media house.
Apart from the DIG, the other officials were working on various angles of the case related to the murder of Aarushi, daughter of dentist Rajesh Talwar arrested for allegedly murdering her, and domestic help Hemraj.
Highly-placed sources in CBI, however, claimed the SP had applied for leave as he had to leave for the US and the Additional SP had some domestic problem.
For the record, the CBI late in the night claimed there was no change in the probe team.
