While empathizing with the victims n condoling the innocent deaths; Mumbai is bursting through its seams, the more, with newer influx of migrants from outside states! There has been a lot of improvement in infrastructure over the years, but it is simply not enough to cater to the ever burgeoning population!! Mumbai must be having the highest population densities of any city in the world, but the way people go about doing their work with clock work precision, not forgetting the famed dabbawalas, is miraculous!!

The authorities need to identify n clear such bottlenecks prone to such accidents on top priority!!

A very unfortunate incident which was caused by an idiot rumor monger. 22 innocent lives were lost and several injured in the stampede on a narrow bridge. I had traveled many times on this very bridge when I was a Mumbaikar. No changes whatsoever. Only thing is more people are using this bridge as the population has gone up. May the souls of the deceased rest in eternal peace and sympathies to the bereaved families and loved ones.

First find out who was the rumor spreader and catch him and give him proper police treatment for spreading false news causing death of so many.

On the safety side, need to control movement of people by some designated mechanism so that only some number of passengers are left from both sides per minute. This will save future mishaps

Must cancel the bullet train project and invest the same to upgrade existing trains and stations.
Smart city projects should implemented to create new cities not the existing. And new cities be created on barren lands not converting the fertile lands.

What Modi has to do in this incident. It's people themselves to be blamed.
One thing for sure, if Congress was ruling Maharashtra & at the Centre, people would hv blamed congress, Rahul, Sonia and Italy.
