Mangaluru, Sep 11: Science department of Lourdes Central School, on Wednesday, September 6, held the inter-house science quiz in their rooftop auditorium. The event was held for students of class VII to class X.

The programme started with the prayer song by the students of class VIII. Verkey Mathew of class IX C welcomed the gathering.

Vice principal Belita Mascarenhas wished the finalists of the quiz luck, and motivated them to perform well.

The MC of the day Tushar Shivam of class X A introduced the contestants of each house.

Quiz master Sharmila Colaco read out the instructions and rules of the competition.

There were 5 rounds in all - question and answer round, MCQ round, visual and buzzer round, clue round and rapid fire round.

At the end of each round, scores were announced.

Amber House won the competition with 85 points, followed by Opal House.

Anshula of class X A proposed the vote of thanks. Linet D’Souza and Gretta Menezes successfully coordinated the event.
