Bengaluru: First meeting in preparation of Vishwa Tulu Sahitya Sammelana held

Bengaluru, Sep 11: Akhila Bharata Tulu Okkoota, on Monday, September 4, held the first meeting in preparation for Vishwa Tulu Sahitya Sammelana, in Bengaluru.

Discussions were held on the blue print of the Sammelana. It was decided that a conference should be held in the monthend to form committees for the Sammelana. The conference is intended to provide suitable honour to Tulu and to include it in the eighth chapter of the constitution.

The Sammelana is scheduled for January, 2018.    

Akhila Bharatha Tulu Okkoota president Dharmapal Devadiga, secretary Nitte Shashidhar Shetty, social thinker Dr Uday Dharmastala, Karnataka Tulu Sahithya Academy member Purushothama Chendla, Dr Rajesh Alva, K N Adiga Adoor, Vijayakumar Kulashekara, Jayaram Sooda, Kanthi Shetty Jalajashekar, author Shantaram Shetty, Jayanth Rao, youth organiser Palli Vishwanath Shetty, Tulu script teacher Sathish Agpala, Karnur Subhash Rai, Sadananda Karkal, Niranjan Suvarna and leaders of various organizations participated and provided their opinions and suggestions.

Representatives of Tuluvere Chavadi, Tuluverenkulu, Tulu Koota, Karavali Kala Prathistana and other organisations participated in the meeting.

    We have a tulu speaking organisation called Canara association established ten years back and celebrated it's 10th anniversary on Nov 2019.
    All activities are related to tulu language only.
    Starting from mc , speechless. Dramas, dances area are been performed iin tulu only
