Mangaluru: Installation programme of Rotaract club held at Besant College

Mangaluru, Aug 31: The installation programme of Rotaract club of Besant P.G Studies in Commerce was held on Tuesday, August 29 at 2.00 pm in the college auditorium.

After the invocation, college principal Dr Satish Shetty welcomed. The dignitaries lit the traditional lamp to inaugurate the event.

President of Rotary Club of Mangaluru, Rtn Vasanth Shenoy inducted the new president Rtr Akshataha by collaring and handing over the gavel.

Other office bearers were given charge by youth service director Rtn Dr Siddarth Shetty. 

Rotaract President gave her acceptance speech followed by message by youth service director. 

The charter application was handed over to Rotary President by staff coordinator Dr Balaji Bhovi. Rotaract chairman Rtn Vinod D’souza addressed and handed over Rotoquiz circulars and posters.

Chief guest  PHF, PP Rtn Suryaprakash Bhat gave an inspiring speech which was well accepted by all. Rotaryr president gave his presidential address highlighting the role of rotary in developing young talents. 

After the formal vote of thanks, the meeting was adjourned for national anthem. Community service director Rtn Sanjiv Poojary, PHF PP Srikanth Kamath and Ann Veena also graced the programme with their presence.
