St Philomena College Puttur conducts IT Fest ‘Vision 2K17’

Puttur, Jul 24: The Department of Computer Science and Pinnacle IT Club of St Philomena College organized an intra-departmental IT Fest ‘Vision 2K17’ on July 21 at the college auditorium.

The campus director Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro in his inaugural address said, "We need something which is original. Students should not adopt the technique of cutting and pasting."

The principal, Professor Leo Noronha in his presidential address said, "People who are optimistic always find opportunities."

HoD of the department Vinayachandra, convener of Pinnacle IT Club Rajeshwari M and vice-president of IT Club Jaimy Maria Joseph were present.

Sharanya and team presented a prayer song. The president of Pinnacle IT Club, Mario Royston Mascarenhas welcomed the gathering. Keerthan proposed the vote of thanks.

At the prize distribution ceremony, Dr Vijaya Kumar M, HoD of Kannada participated as chief guest. The principal Professor Leo Noronha honoured the champions of 'Vision 2017’ Techno Squad, runners-up of ‘Vision 2017’ Techno Start-Up and the third prize winners of ‘Vision 2017’ Techno Frenzy.
