Raichur, Jul 19: A young man has written a letter in Kannada to the Prime Minister (PM) of India, Narendra Modi, explaining the woes of farmers. He has used his blood as ink to write this 6 pages letter in two sets.
Ravi Gowda from Mallada Gudda near here is the youth who wrote this letter. In addition to explaining the woes of farmers, the letter intends to attract youth to the field of farming.
Ravi Gowda presently studies in second year PUC. His father, an ordinary farmer, owns two acres of land.
Ravi has explained the difficulties the farmers face presently in Karnataka. The reason to write the letter to the PM, as per Ravi is, no attention has been paid to the illegal irrigation from Tunga Badra water reservoir despite many complaints to local authorities.
“I felt only blood can explain the seriousness of the matter. I am confident that PM will respond to my letter.” Ravi said.
The letter was dispatched on July 17.
