Bantwal, Jul 17: Sri Rajashekharananda Swamiji of Gurpur Vajradehi Math on Monday July 17 submitted a written statement through his lawyer to Bantwal town police station, following notice by Bantwal police circle inspector asking the Swamiji to appear in the police station after claims by the Swamiji that he has explosive information of RSS worker Sharath Madivala's murder.
Advocate Mahesh Kaje, speaking to reporters said that the Swamiji could not come to the police station as he is busy with religious rituals of Hindu calender months Chaturmasa and Ashada. “Therefore Swamiji's written statement is handed over to the investigating officer," he said.
When reporters asked him about the 'explosive' information, he said that the Swamiji has fearlessly mentioned those things such as failure of the government and points that are connected to it that an ordinary person cannot mention. “Different questions have come up regarding the statement of the Swamiji and the information that needed to be provided to the investigating officer has been given in writing. The information will be made public at the appropriate time," he said.
The statement by Swamiji in a news conference in Mangaluru, that he has explosive information regarding the murder of Sharath Madiwal had caused curiosity among the public.
Advocate Navin and Rajaram Nayak were present on the occasion.
