Mangaluru, Jul 16 : Indian cricket's offspin legend, popularly known as 'Turbanator', 'Bhajji' Harbajan Singh who visited the city on Sunday, July 15 to attend a wedding function, was mobbed by his fans in the hotel premises as well as wedding venue to take selfie with him.

Harbajan Singh made time to speak to Daijiworld about his cricket career. "I have still lots of cricket left in me. I was expecting a call to the national side after my success in IPL this season. But no regrets, as I am spending lots of time with my newborn kid. But I will be back to cricket field soon. I am eyeing a spot in the shorter versions of the game, limited overs and T20," he said.

According to the cricket experts, since the current Indian spin duo, Jadeja - Ashwin, not doing so well in foriegn soil, Bhajji may get a chance in overseas games during later this year and early next year.

When asked, if age is the factor for his exclusion in selection despite giving good performance in IPL, confident Bhajji asked, if Yuvaraj and Dhoni can still play, why not him ?

When asked about Ravi Shastri's role as a chief of coach of Indian team, he says, Shastri has an experience of leading the Indian team as team director, "But we must wait and watch his style of working in the coming days," he said without showing much interest on commenting on the controversy of selection of coach.

"I want to focus on my personal cricket. I spend lots of time in England these days as my in-laws are settled down there. But soon I will be back to India with my family and start full-pledged cricket practice" he informed.

It was nice that he visited the corporate office of Daijiworld. I wish him best of luck in his coming back to the cricket field.
