If the voting rights in that region are revoked for the communities creating violence they will fare better.

Can someone advise the number of Sections that have been put in place in the aftermath of the Bantwal incidents? It is amusing to see that every second day Sections after Sections are being introduced to keep "Mangalore on the boil" or to appease somebody? I foresee Mangalore (not in its entirety.. but in parts) turning into a graveyard like Darjeeling, Jammu & Kashmir and other states. Is this THE BEGINNING OF THE END OR THE END OF THE BEGINNING. Never was such an incident seen in the history of peace loving Mangalore. Keeping fingers crossed.

No IPC section is going to bring peace and stability in Mangalore unless two dozen people are not send to the gallows.
The law enforcement officers know exactly whom they to deal. Unfortunately soft Hindutva approach of coast Congress with Sangh parivar leaned politicians from ruling elite BJP will not make it happen.
As quoted by a famous American writer Alvin Kofler, ‘the illiterates of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn and relearn’.
This quote is very much suits Mangalorean despite their excellent record in education. When it comes to electing right people's representative they put press wrong button electing the leaders who then bring present situation.

When things go beyond acceptable limits of tolerence by some people/political leaders or organizations , invoking 'Section 35 of Police Act' makes justice to maintain peace and stability in the society. Losing popularity or fear of losing next election is a different question but mainting law and order is the priority of the government.

    Congress is the culprit here.
Congress can not fight SDPI in fair play. It has to portray SDPI as a fundamental terrorist party so that it can retain all moderate muslim votebank.
So pouring fuel to the fight between SDPI and pro Hindu rightwing groups Congress is trying to pull in moderate Hindu votes too.

Why communal riots should happen in the first place ?????????????
Nalin wants to prove BJP = Benki janatah party by putting DK on fire, There is another Sukumar shetty challenged SP Annamalai in Gangolly, that he is capable of putting fire in day time....
There is one Huchhu Hudugi, who wants to hang the beef eaters, she does not know how much COW MEAT is exported ... If we have such elements, it is not difficult to start communal riots... More over we have rouges and goons who violate section 144... this is how we exhibit our Deshaprema ...
