Puttur, Jun 28: 'Philodarshana' was organized to provide information and guidance to the students who sought admission for Post Graduate studies at St Philomena College here, in PG conference hall, on Tuesday, June 27.
The chairperson of the Centre for PG studies and Research of the College, Fr Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, in his address said, "The students who seek admission for higher education must obtain details about the quality of education and other facilities available at an institution."
The principal professor Leo Noronha said, "At present, the college offers MSW, M Com, M Sc(Physics), M Sc(Mathematics), M Sc(Computer Science), M A (Economics) and M A (Hindi). All the PG programmes have registered an excellent academic record during the past years."
The coordinator of PG studies in Mathematics, professor Ganesh Bhat and coordinator of PG studies in Computer Science Govinda Prakash were present on occasion.
Akshatha and team led the gathering in prayer. The coordinator of PG studies in Economics professor Dinakara Rao welcomed the gathering. The coordinator of PG studies in Social Work Prasanna Kumar presented details about the facilities available in PG Centre. Assistant professor Pradeep K S proposed the vote of thanks.
