Mumbai, Apr 18: The new office of Billava Jagruthi Balaga was inaugurated by Suresh S Poojary, president of the Balaga here on Monday April 14.
Chandra Shekar Palethady, editor of Karnataka Malla, a Kannada daily and chief guest for the day delivered the keynote address while Babu Shiva Poojary, honorary editor of Gurutu, addressed the gathering.
Sharada Suru Karkera, former working president of women wing of the Balaga also spoke on the occasion and Suresh Poojary in his presidential address wished the best for the Balaga for its future endeavours.
Harish S Poojary, honorary chief secretary compered the inaugural programme and JM Kotian, honorary treasurer, proposed the vote of thanks.
D U Salian, K M Kotian, Purushotam Kotian, S R Poojary, Divya Amin, Shiva Billava, Gopal Trasi, Anand Shanthi and others were present on the occasion.
