Puttur: Kadaba youth kidnapped in Delhi with three others from state

Puttur, Jun 23: Four youth from the state including one from Kadaba have been kidnapped in Delhi and held captive by unknown culprits.

Krishna Prasad A (26) from Neraki in Kadaba, Prashanth from Kalladka and Abhilash from Valal are other the abducted persons. Name of another person is not known.

Krishna Prasad has been working in Wipro in Bengaluru for the past two years. He had studied engineering at Vivekananda College in Puttur. When he had come to his house fifteen days back, he had informed them that he would go to Delhi with his friends on June 18 to bring some equipment for gymnasium.

On June 20, Krishna Prasad phoned home and said that he had reached Delhi safely. Later they received a call from him saying he had been kidnapped. He told them that the cash and other valuables including ATM cards have been taken away from him and the kidnapers are demanding Rs 3 lacs from him for his release. Otherwise they have threatened to kill him, he informed.

The parents of Krishna Prasad said that they received the call from their son three times asking to deposit Rs 3 lacs into his account.

The parents have lodged a complaint at Kadaba police station. They have also requested minister D V Sadananda Gowda to help them to trace their son.

Police have said that the calls were made from Haryana and Delhi border. They have begun investigations.

    looks like something extremely silly & cooked up story..., i only wish this news is not used or sold by political parties to meet their lust by promoting/instigating emotions of poor Hindustani's of the region which already boiling for no fault of the right thinking comman man.
