Mangaluru, Jun 20: An audio clip purportedly containing verbal duel between a man from Mumbai and minister, Ramanath Rai, has been spreading like wildfire in WhatsApp. In this audio, the caller is seen questioning Rai about the habit of Congressmen always of indulging in lashing out at Hindu leaders and doing things for appeasing Muslims. He also is heard threatening the minister of responding to these measures in a fitting way during the assembly election.
"You and minister, Khader, have been making derogatory comments about Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat. Why do you want to put Hindu leaders behind the bars? Are you facing problems from Hindus? Have you decided to always support Muslims? Rahul Gandhi too is seen to be supporting Muslims. Prabhakar Bhat has never engaged himself with terrorist activities, he is our strength," the man on the other end is heard saying.
When Rai uses expletives against Prabhakar Bhat on this occasion, the man is heard advising Rai not to speak in that tone about Bhat and warned that Congress will be losing its deposit in the next election. "You will come to know who will be behind the bars," he retorts.
Rai is heard questioning the man about the interest he is taking about this area in spite of being in Mumbai, to which he says that it is but natural for him to have affection and attachment to his native place. Rai wants to know whether he knows what what the former had done, and the man is heard saying that he has record of what Rai had said.
When Rai says that Prabhakar Bhat is a person who got murder plan executed, the person on the other end wanted to know who and when the murder happened, and why his own government did not arrest Bhat for the murder then and there. "You want to make Muslims happy when election approaches. Your game plan will not work this time. After six more months, you will face election. We will see what has to be done about you people, and you will know who will go to jail. I will call you again then," the man is heard saying before cutting the call.
