M'luru: Toppers honoured by headmasters' and principals' association at Rosario

Mangaluru, Jun 9: High School Headmasters' and PU College Principals' Associations' annual educational conference was held on June 8 at Rosario hall.

State level topper in SSLC exams Poornananda of St Joachim's H.S Kadaba, toppers of member schools (Kannada and English medium), heads of 100% result schools and retired heads of institutions were honoured on the occasion.    
 
Stany Francis Baretto (Graduate Assistant of Padua High school) Scholarship Rs 10,000 was distributed to three toppers among member schools (Kannada Medium 2 and English Medium 1).


    




















Sureka (H M Bhaghavathi English Medium High School, Sankolige) distributed Rs 5000 to a Kannada medium topper girl student in memory of her late daughter Sowjanya who expired while studying in first year PU.

M R Ravi, chief secretary of D K Zilla Panchayat inaugurated the conference. Walter D'Mello, DDPI; Jnanesh, BEO; Mangaluru South; Fr J B Crasta, parish priest of Rosario Cathedral; Kadher Shah and Stany Francis Baretto were present on the dais.

Earlier, Aloysius D'Souza, president of the association, welcomed the gathering. Vincent D'Costa, secretary delivered the vote of thanks. A large number of students, parents and head of institutions were present during the function.
