Mangaluru: MPC to hold talk on 'Life Style' on June 10

Mangaluru, Jun 7: Mangalore Productivity Council will organise a talk on the topic 'Life Style' at SDM Law College auditorium, Kodialbail on June 10. The programme will begin at 5:00 pm.

Speaking to mediapersons on Wednesday, June 7 at press club, president of the Mangalore Productivity Council U Rama Rao said that people should understand the importance of family doctors in busy lives and should keep self-check to make sure they are on a healthy path.

"Prevention is better than cure. Therefore it is our duty to look after our health in a way that we do not have to pay a heavy price for it later," he said.

"At present, children even in Class 5, face stress and anxiety related problems. MPC, therefore wants to spread awareness about how to maintain a stress-free and happy life. Dr Polali Jayarama Bhat will talk on how to maintain health. We will also take the opportunity to felicitate Dr Polali Jayarama Bhat, who is a life member of MPC, for his all round performance as managing director of Karnataka Bank Ltd for the past 8 years, that would act as an example for the younger generations," he added.

MPC is calling out new members to join their council with a patron fee of Rs 5000 and a life membership fee of Rs 2000.

MPC strongly believes that productivity is not measured only by wealth but also by happiness of people and strive for it by conducting various programmes.

Secretary P B Saralaya, members K V Sitharam, B Prakash Rao, P Ravindra Rao and others were present.
