Mangaluru: Rains make highway at Thokkottu a virtual drainage

Daijiworld Media Network- Mangaluru (ANK)

Mangaluru, Jun 5: Monsoon has just begun in coastal region. Though only light rains were seen after the onset of recent monsoon, many parts of the city have already experienced the consequences of bad road management.

The situation at Thokkottu junction on the evening of Monday, June 5 was unpleasant and unexplainable with the highway becoming a virtual drainage.

The photos should explain the current road situation in city. Politicians are fast asleep with the sound of rains.

More and heavier rains are expected to bring greater trouble to people and their vehicles.

Jayarama Hegde, Belthangady when Modi said that he would build roads and 30kms a day would be constructed. Who else should I blame? Is it the President of USA or the Prime Minister of U.K or Sri Lanka. PM Modi's only concern is to travel overseas.

Maybe not Modis fault. But be gracious is failure too. BJP takes credit for anything good whether it began in their term or not. So why not also take some blame.. Maami is to be blamed but also realize that BJP ruled Karnataka for 5 years.

This problem was there with Maami and with Modi.

It will continue........ the problem is only we guys we will today say Modi and tomorrrow say Maami.

Our problems will always be our problem.
