Mangaluru: Expert institute holds orientation programme for first PU students, parents

Mangaluru, June 5: Expert PU College held an orientation programme for first PU students and their parents at the college cultural auditorium on Monday, June 5. Ushaprabha N Nayak, vice-chairperson of Expert Group of Institutions inaugurated the programme.

Speaking on occasion, she said that hard work was cause of achievements for students of Expert. “Parents should take extra interest in their teenage children and encourage them in their studies,” she said. She administered the oath to the students.

Professor Narendra L Nayak, chairman of Expert Group of Institutions, speaking after chairing the programme, said that parents should join help students study hard. “Expert college takes care of the all round development of students,” he said.

College principal Dr N K Vijayan speaking on occasion said that Expert gives away the art of using each minute in a meaningful way. He gave details of the facilities and rules in the college. He also gave information of the competitive examinations available for students.

Poorvi G R who has secured 93rd rank in CET engineering and her parents were felicitated on occasion.

Ankush N Nayak, director of Information Technology Department in Experts Institutes, Yogarathna Gopalakrishna Delampady, Yoga trainer and Ramakrishna Rao K, programme director were present on the occasion.

Chemistry department lecturer Dhrithi V Hegde and Sheryl F D'Souza welcomed and compered the programme. Student welfare department officer Jasmine Prathibha and Srinivas proposed vote of thanks.
