Bantwal, Jun 1: Naveen Bhat from here, who secured 37th rank in All India UPSC civil services examination for 2016, result of which was announced on Wednesday May 31, has dedicated his outstanding success to both his parents.
Naveen happens to be the son of Umesh Bhat, working as assistant executive engineer in the taluk public works department. Umesh, who resides currently at B C Road, is a native of Ellur in Udupi district.
Naveen completed his primary education in Rotary English medium school at Moodbidri before continuing the same in Infant Jesus English medium school at Modankap in the taluk. He got his high school and PU education through Sri Sathya Sai Loka Seva high school and PU college at Alike.
Naveen had topped the state in 2009 common entrance test and completed his MBBS course through Bangalore Medical College. He has now reached his aspiration of passing UPSC examination with high scores.
Naveen, who feels that full credit for his success should go to his parents who put in hard work and extended incessant encouragement to him, does not forget to add that best wishes of elders, blessings from the Lord and guidance provided by educational institutions in which he studied have all helped him to achieve this feat.
