Kasargod: Service beyond boundaries - Communities gather to bid farewell to Fr Vincent

Kasaragod, May 29: A function to bid farewell to Fr Vincent D’Souza, parish priest of Our Lady of Dolours Shrine, Bela, was organized by the civic felicitation committees of various religious and social welfare organizations, here on Sunday May 28.

It was a rare incident in the vicinity; it was perhaps the first time a Catholic religious priest received the highest honour irrespective of caste, creed, language, and religion.

Fr Vincent D’Souza is a pious priest who has been involved in promoting peace and brotherhood in the society through social, religious and educational fields over the past seven years, while working as parish priest of Bela.

Stany Crasta, president, civic felicitation committee, Shankar , Jagannatha Rai, Ganesh Krishna Bhat Alakke, Kunjar Mohammed Haji, vice-presidents of civic felicitation committee, Lancy D’Souza, convener, Naveen Crasta, treasurer were present..

Fr Vincent D’Souza has been transferred to St Antony Church, Kulur.

A large number of people of diverse religions and faiths attended the felicitation.

Fr Valerian Frank of Bela will take charge of Ammembal parish.

Your main intention is betterment of the Rural poor people. May God bless you abundantly in all your future missions.
