Bantwal: Kalladka totally peaceful, IGP visits – SP camps in town

Bantwal, May 28: After a day of tension that prevailed after a stabbing incident, Kalladka remained totally peaceful on Saturday and Sunday.

The police have imposed Section 144 from May 27 till June 2 in Bantwal taluk, which is in force.

Superintendent of police Gulabrao Borase has camped in Bantwal Town Police Station to oversee the operations of police with an intention to maintain total peace in the area.

IGP (Western Range) Harishekaran visited the area and briefed the police personnel. He checked the additional security measures that have been in place since the past two days.

    Send the main cause away for few days and people will forget the trouble and unrest including DK and Udupi as long as he is away!

    When our mangalore will become peaceful? Due to few people all are suffering. The shops are closed . buses are damaging. People cannot travel even if the need in urgency . Nowadays killing stabbing is become so easy just for nothing . Hope all the people love each other keeping beside the religion and thinking we all are human
