Mumbai, Mar 26: “The vision of universal family was reckoned by Indians since ancient times. In the present era of globalization, women play vital role in this regard. Women are usually well-natured who should not be looked down at any time,” said renowned writer Dr Myna R Shetty, while delivering keynote address on ‘Globalization – Creative Women’ during the recently held ‘sixth Mahila Bharati’ convention, organized by sixth women division of Goregaon Karnataka Sangh, held at Bajaj auditorium, Malad (West).
Usha K Shetty inaugurated ‘sixth Mahila Bharati’ programme. Mundkoor Surendra S Salian, president of Karnataka Sangh released English version of‘Manku Timmana Kagga’ of DVG translated by Dr Myna R Shetty.
Nirmala Shivattaya delivered the introductory remarks. Padmavati S Shetty compered the programme while Chitra Bhat proposed vote of thanks.
Popular actor Ahalla Ballal shared her experiences on advertisement while Parimala Kulkarni briefed on legal sphere and Bhoomika M Shetty shared her experience in the field of social service.
Vasanti Kotekar inaugurated the valedictory ceremony. Various cultural events were held as part of the entertainment programme.
