Bengaluru, Mar 8: “Party workers falling on the feet of political leader is not culture. It is a wrong attitude,” said K S Eshwarappa, senior BJP leader and Vidhana Parishat opposition party leader.
Eshwarappa was referring to the incident of BJP workers falling on the feet of state BJP president B S Yeddyurappa.
Speaking to reporters after participating in a programme in Anekal, Eshwarappa said that he does not know why the workers fell on the feet of Yeddyurappa. “If the intention was to get status and position, it is wrong. If they fell because Yeddyurappa is an elderly figure, it is a personal matter,” he said.
Admitting that everything is not well in BJP at the moment, he said “There are small differences in the party, even now,”
The video of party workers falling on the feet of party president B S Yeddyurappa in a programme went viral in social media.
