A report on the issue, authored by Fr Gerald Ravi D'Souza, was published in daijiworld on February 23, drawing the attention of the concerned to the state of neglect in which the century-old Kudripadav-Ailkala Pade road has been lying in. The story had brought to light the plight of people living in Kudripadav, Dharode Hitlu and around Aikala Pade because of this bad road.
Aikala and Kallamudkur panchayats were asked to wake up from their slumber and take notice of the tribulations of the people of the villages comprising of even old, weak, sick people and also the students, and upgrade the muddy road.
