Ballari,Feb 20: The fraternal affection and camaraderie that had been on display between former minister and current MP, B Sriramulu, and former minister, Karunakar Reddy and Janardhana Reddy brothers even after Janardhana Reddy was jailed, which was in place since the last some decades, seems to have evaporated in thin air. Sriramulu and Karunakar Reddy are locked up in a bitter war of oneupmanship after dispute arose between the two over the ownership of a piece of land in the city recently.
As a sequel to the ongoing feud between the two sides, a complaint of caste abuse was filed in the rural police station here against Karunakar Reddy and aother. The complainant, Nagappa from Havambhavi village, said to be a close associate of Sriramulu, has made this complaint in which he has accused Karunakar Reddy and his brother-in-law, Vishwanath Reddy, of passing derogatory comments against him by making a reference to his caste. "You fellows belong to inferior caste. Do not dare to move around here. All of you keep roaming in this place," the accused said to have told Nagappa. Nagappa has sought stern action against Karunakar Reddy and Vishwanath Reddy.
