Bengaluru, Feb 16: Legal and human rights cell of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) has filed complaints with the Lokayukta and Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB), seeking these agencies to investigate the conversations which occurred between BJP state president, B S Yeddyurappa, and union minister, Ananth Kumar, which was captured on video.
The complaint seeks registration of complaint under different sections of Anti Corruption Act and Indian Penal Code, and initiation of legal action against the duo. It wants the BJP office here to be seized. The cell has also asked Yeddyurappa and Ananth to resign from their respective posts immediately.
President of KPCC legal cell,C M Dhananjay, arrived at the office of the Lokayukta with other office bearers, and delivered the complaint. He noted that the two leaders had talked about remitting of money in the form of bribe to the high command in a conversation which occurred within the BJP office. As Anti Corruption Bureau has registered the complaint, both these leaders have to leave their posts forthwith, he demanded.
