Mangaluru, Oct 23: ICYM Cordel is all set to host 2016 Christmas in a unique way by joining hands with all Cordelites serving in places in India and abroad. ICYM organises this event to strengthen ties of all parishioners spread across with their fellow parishioners back home.
A musical evening is organised on December 25 evening at Kulshekar Church premises wherein the young and old parishioners from abroad will join together with their fellow parishioners to entertain the audience with their talents. Kevin Misquith, the young singer and composer from Mangaluru, will perform along with the local talents from Cordel.
Kevin Misquith first emerged in the Konkani music scene in 2004 with the release of his debut album ‘Rupnem’. Since then he has never looked back and has been performing consistently providing quality music. Producing four music albums and performing in several music shows, today he is well-known among the Konkani music lovers around the world. His dedication and passion towards music today has won him a dedicated band of fans, followers and admirers in Konkani music.
Proceeds of this event will be in aid of construction of houses for the poor and homeless residing in Cordel parish.
