Mangaluru, Jan 7: A Congress fact-finding committee inspected the Pacchanady Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) after allegations of untreated water being supplied in over 50% of Mangaluru's wards surfaced during a recent MCC council meeting.

Led by MCC opposition leader Anil Kumar, the committee included MLC Ivan D'Souza and corporators Shashidhar Hegde, Lancelot Pinto, Naveen D'Souza, Keshav Maroli, Ashraf Bajal, and Shamshuddin Kudroli.

The team identified issues at the STP and plans to compile a detailed report to address the discrepancies found.
