Vienna, Oct 22 (IANS): Austrian football team's goalkeeper Robert Almer will have to be out for at least six months due to injury he suffered during the Europa League match that his club Austria Vienna played against AS Roma.
So far, the 30-year-old has suffered a torn cruciate ligament in his right knee, but he may still have more damage, the player announced on Friday, reports Efe.
The goalkeeper was injured 22 minutes into Thursday's game in which his club tied 3-3 with Italian giants Roma.
