London, Oct 6 (IANS): The English Football Association (FA) has confirmed it will begin the search for a new coach for the national team after the friendly against Spain in London on November 15.
Gareth Southgate was appointed as interim coach of England to succeed Sam Allardyce, who was sacked after just one game as in charge, reports Efe.
Southgate, 46, will lead England in the next four matches against Malta on October 8, Slovenia on October 11, Scotland on November 11, and Spain on November 15.
FA Chairman Greg Clarke told Sky Sports on Wednesday he will lead the search for the new coach, along with FA CEO Martin Glenn and development director Dan Ashworth.
