E-mail to IndiaTV Threatening Pak Cricket Team

New Delhi, Nov 24: A day after the powerful blasts hit Uttar Pradesh, killing 13 and injuring 60, an email threatening the Pakistani cricket team of dire consequences if they did not withdraw from the ongoing test series, was recieved by the India TV channel.

"Today at 1029 hours, INDIA TV received an email from an alleged terrorist, originating from the email ID guru_boys2000@yahoo.com, threatening the Pakistani cricket team to withdraw from the test series. The mail also clearly states that they may kill Pakistani Cricketers if they fail to go back to their country. The mail has warned the Pakistani Players from playing any further in the country. The last line in the mail says ''Go back to UR home Pakistani'," an India TV release said.

The release said the senders of the email said it should be taken seriously.

"The email states that there will be more blasts in Chennai (K K Nagar) on November 30, Ghaziabad on December 10, Delhi(JJ colony) on December 25, Mumbai (Mulund west ) on December 28, Kolkata(Fairlawn Hotel) one, 2008 and Islamabad in Pakistan on January 1, 2008," the release from, issued by Sr Input Editor, India TV, Jacob Mathew.
