Man kidnaps wife's brother for ransom - gets caught with accomplices

Bengaluru, Jul 26: A man who abducted his own brother-in-law and placed demand for ransom with his father-in-law, Muddanna, got caught along with his accomplices.

Chetan, main accused in the case, had got his wife's brother, Girish, kidnapped, with the help of his friends and some others. He then moved around with father-in-law, Muddanna, thereafter and kept his gang informed of the latest information. He had been advising Muddanna to meet ransom demand of abductors to get Girish released instead of filing police complaint.

Finally, Muddanna decided to file police complaint. Developing cold feet at this unexpected development, Chetan got Girish released. The police found that some of the members of the abduction gang were his friends. Once they were arrested and questioned, the entire story was released, policemen stated.

    Put him in jail under Goonda act. Let him enjoy rest of his life there,if let free he may plan another kidnapping .
