Bengaluru, Jul 3: The differences in BJP with regard to the appointment of new office bearers have officially reached Delhi.
Following public warning by state BJP president B S Yeddyurappa that anti party activities cannot be tolerated, K S Eshwarappa, who has rebelled and led the dissident leaders, has travelled to Delhi to complain to the senior party leaders on national level.
In the circumstances, it will be interesting to see if the list of office bearers will be changed.
After the meeting of new office bearers, MLAs and MPs presided by Yeddyurappa in the party office in Bengaluru on Saturday, July 2, angry Eshwarappa travelled to Delhi. Some unhappy leaders also are likely to join Eshwarappa in Delhi, though their names are not known.
Eshwarappa on Sunday, July 3 will meet national organizing chief secretary Ram Lal and is expected to provide a clear picture of one sided approach of Yeddyurappa with regard to appointment of office bearers in the state unit.
Sangh Parivar origin Ram Lal is said to be extremely influential and is close to BJP national president Amith Shah. It is said that Eshwarappa will also try to meet Amith Shah.
Strangely though, B S Yeddyurappa in the meeting of office bearers on Saturday, July 2 had only warned instead of discussing of dissatisfaction among the leaders.
