Mangaluru, Jun 20: CC Camera surveillance system and video conferencing facility was inaugurated at the district court building. High court judge and Dakshina Kannada administrative justice A N Venugopala Gowda set the facilities in motion.

Bengaluru High court judge hailing from Dakshina Kannada district, justice Abdul Nazeer Sab and registrar general justice Michael D'Cunha spoke via video conferencing and watched the programme.
100 cameras of three models with high definition and infrared capacity are installed in the building. The security staff in charge can monitor the functions either from the court premises or from their
residences. The information obtained in the CC camera will be preserved for a month. The necessary pictures and information will be saved and the remaining information will be deleted after one month.
