Kundapur, Jun 17: An avid speaker, marathon runner, enthusiastic musician, young dentist from the city, Dr Brayan Dixan Menezes, won the prestigious 'National Dental Health Excellence Award' for the year 2015-16. This award was presented by IISER in Bengaluru in April. Dr Brayan has even won the 'Best Paper Award' for his paper presentation on 'Tele Dentistry' and 'Laser Dentistry' by Indian Academy of Oral Medicine and Radiology (IAOMR) national conference held in Chennai in 2009 and 2010.

He specialized in dental implants and runs his practice Smile Isle Dental Care on New BEL Road, Sanjaynagar,  Bengaluru.

Dr Brayan D Menezes, was born in Tallur, here and graduated from Government Dental College and Research Institute, Bengaluru. He specialises in dental implant treatment and has been running his practice Smile Isle Dental Care on New BEL Road since 2011.

"I am a recipient of the prestigious 'National Dental Health Excellence Award' for the year 2015-16, given by International Institute of Social and Economic Reforms (IISER) every year. It is given for ones service in teaching and treating in the dental concern. This award ceremony was held at Ravindra Kalakshetra Bengaluru in April.

"I have even been presented 'The Best Paper Award' in Indian association of oral medicine and radiology national conference - All India Level, for my paper presentation on 'Teledentistry and Laser Dentistry'. This event was held in Chennai.

I have been nominated for Prime Time National Dental Health Excellence Award for the year 2016- best dental implantologist category,  the event of which will be held in Delhi in July 2016.
