Mangaluru: Missing boy from Bantwal taluk found from city

Mangaluru, Jun 17: A boy who had gone missing after leaving his home at Partippdy in Kolnadu village in Bantwal taluk was found from the city on Thursday June 16.

Muhammed Safwan (13), son of Sulaiman from Kolnadu village, an eighth standard student of government higher primary school at Mankude, had left home as usaual on June 14 morning. He had gone missing thereafter.

The boy's father, Sulaiman, had filed missing complaint in Vittal police station in this connection on Wednesday itself.

It is learnt that the boy, who directly arrived at the city by bus, visited several hotels and shops seeking job. As he had not reached the prescribed age for employing children, no one had given him work. Frustrated, the boy called his father over phone. Vittal police then visited the city, escorted him back, and handed him over to his parents.
