Sullia: Man slips down from tree - loses life

Sullia, Jun 12: Vilas (37), son of Gundla Ganapayya from Aranthodu near here died after slipping from a coconut tree on Saturday June 11.

Vilas had climbed a coconut tree belonging to a person from Deraje for plucking of coconuts. He had fallen down and suffered serious injuries. He was rushed to Wenlock Hospital at Mangaluru for treatment. He however, breathed his last there.

Vilas is survived by wife and two daughters.
