New Delhi, April 27 (IANS): Global lifestyle brand BenQ on Wednesday launched a new series of monitors powered by innovating eye care technologies to protect users' eyes.
The “Low Blue Light” and “Flicker Free” technologies will reduce blue light emitted by monitors that cause eye damage, eyestrain, headaches and sleeping orders after a prolonged use.
“BenQ’s 'Eye Care' monitors offer pioneering ‘Low Blue Light’ technology and Flicker-free backlight - tailor-made to protect our eyes and enhance our visual entertainment experience simultaneously,” said Rajeev Singh, managing director, BenQ India.
The monitors -- EW2440ZH and EW2750ZL -- have true 8-bit colour (no dithering) and light matte screen surface.
The monitors are built with four preset “Low Blue Light” modes to reduce blue light.
They are equipped with “Flicker Free” technology to eliminate flickering at all brightness levels, thus reducing eye fatigue.
The EW2750ZL monitor can be connected to the smartphone for better picture experience.
The EW2440ZH and EW2750ZL monitors are priced at Rs.12500 and Rs.17500, respectively.
