Mumbai: Dr Jayanth Kaikini awarded 'Guru Narayana Sahitya Prashasthi 2015'

Mumbai, Feb 15: Billavara Association the city's organ Akshaya monthly magazine on Sunday February 14 presented former honorary chief editor M B Kukyan sponsored Guru Narayana Literary award 2015 to well known author Dr Jayanth Gaurish Kaikini.



















Association vice president Raja V Salian, Bhaskar V Bangera, Shankera D Poojary, U Dhananjay Kumar, honorary chief treasurer Mahesh C Karkala, women's wing executive president Shakuntala K Kotian present on the dais congratulated Dr Jayanth Kaikini.

Akshaya monthly magazine staff Jayarama G Nayak, Santhosh K Poojary and Mamatha Nayak were present. Association honorary chief secretary Dharmapal G Anchan welcomed the guests and gave the keynote address. Poetess Sharada A Anchan led the prayer. Akshaya monthly editor Dr Ishwara Alevooru and Kusuma C Poojary introduced the guests. Dharmesh Salian conducted the cultural programme. Assistant editor Harish K Hejmadi compered the programme and read the felicitation memo.

Gurunarayana night school children and local committee children presented a cultural programme and dances.
