Fujairah, Sep 10: All the members of Canara Catholics Fujairah (CCF) together with their family and friends celebrated the feast of Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary with devotion. Fr Michael Cardoza , parish priest of Fujairah offered the Solemn Eucharistic celebrations during which the new corn was blessed.
Later as all the people gathered at the church hall, children came in a procession, offered flowers to Mother Mary.
Novem was served to everyone present for the celebration. Various games were conducted for children and adults. Pure traditional vegetarian food prepared by the committee members of CCF was served to all.
The programme came to end with a thanking note by CCF Vincent Barboza.
