Udupi: Pejawar Swamiji visits bar assoc, urges support for Paryaya

Udupi, Jan 12: Sri Vishwesha Theetha Swamiji, Pejawar math visited district bar association Udupi and urged people’s support for the success of Paryaya on Monday, January 11. 

Addressing the gathered, he said, “Advocates have the responsibility of protecting constitution, human right and fighting for the justice of people.”

“God is always present within us and in front of our eyes. He is omnipresent. I request people to support Paryaya celebration and make it a grand success.”

“A convict should get punishment according to the volume of his crime. An advocate should not take the case of a real convict, who has committed crime intentionally and should not support criminals. One should not go against his conscience.” 

B V Acharya, senior justice and former advocate general said, “It is our duty as advocates to see that the Constitution is implemented in its right spirit. There is a conflict in judicial system, yet the lawyers are doing proper job.”

Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Harnalli, senior justice and former advocate general, said, “Swamijis fulfil the spiritual needs of the nation. Unfortunately, now-a-days dignified personalities have lost morality and mental fortitude. There are many problems in front of judiciary. There is a need to renew spirituality." 

K Dayanand, president, bar association welcomed the gathering. Ronald Praveen Kumar, chief secretary extended vote of thanks. Deepa K R compered the programme.
