Mangaluru, Jan 7: Panambur police, in the early hours of Tuesday January 5, raided a spot in the service road near Kudremukh Junction at Panambur here, and arrested three persons. The car in which these three were seated was also confiscated.
After the police inspector of the station got reliable information when he was on his rounds with some personnel, he raided the spot and found that a car bearing registration No. KA 51 B 679 with three persons was parked there. Those seated in the car had a two-headed snake with them, and were waiting for clients.
The arrested persons have been identified as Anwar (30) from Padubettu House, Nelyady, Venkatesh (27) from Upparakere Doddi, Kanakanpura, Bengaluru, and Gajadharan (64) Vattiyoor, Kavu Arapuram Junction, Thiruvananthapuram. The value of the snake has been estimated at Rs 2,000 although its price in international market is said to be much higher, and that of the car, at Rs 4,00,000.
